Who We Are


The Physio Company aims to offer a fast and effective solution to all your musculo-skeletal, spinal and neurological conditions whether it happened 3 days or 3 years ago!

Our staff total over 80 years experience in clinical practice and we would like to introduce them to you below:

Rebecca Chambers
Becci has over 20 years experience in clinical practice, treating a wide variety of conditions. She has worked for 13 years in private practice as well as for The NHS, The Priory Hospital, The British Olympic Federation, Warwickshire CCC, Moseley RUFC and The British Armed Forces.

Emma Flaherty
Emma also has more than 20 years experience working in a varied clinical environment. She has worked for The NHS and in the private sector as well as working for Charitable Trusts. Her particular field of expertise is Neurological Physiotherapy and she works with many other health care professionals as part of a team for clients with complex disability.

Nicky Baker
Nikki has been working in a large NHS trust since she qualified six years ago, she is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and Society of Orthopaedic Medicine and she is currently training for the McKenzie Institute. She has worked for the Old Edwardians Rugby Club in Solihull and is a keen half marathon runner.

Alison Bate
After graduating in Sports Rehabilitation she became a Musculoskeletal Chartered Physiotherapist and HPC registrant in 2004. She worked in private practice in Manchester where she treated an array of conditions including Fire and Ambulance Service employees experiencing injuries at work and athletes struggling with sports injuries. Ali is a keen racket sports enthusiast having played squash at county level.

James Turner
After doing a degree in Sport and Exercise Science James went on to qualify as a Physiotherapist. Once qualified he started working at Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham before moving to Solihull Hospital. James is a keen and dedicated athlete competing in triathlons, cycling and multisport events.

Bensley Selvan
Since qualifying Ben has worked in the NHS and private sector both in England and abroad. He has obtained many qualifications and was the physiotherapist to one of the teams in the National Wheel Chair Games. Ben is a multi-faceted individual who has won poetry competitions, been a DJ, is an avid cricket fan and is currently studying Spanish and German at University.

We also provide Occupational health services to John Lewis' Solihull and Metro Shipping Birmingham, treating the staff, offering work station assessments and helping with manual handling training.

The practices are in Solihull and Knowle and have ample parking facilities.

We aim to see you at your convenience and offer day, evening and week-end appointments
